To be eligible to apply for a job with ASIC, you must be an Australian citizen.
Once you’re selected as a candidate for a role at ASIC, we'll ask you to undertake a pre engagement assessment to determine your suitability for employment. The information we’ll validate will include your education, employment and membership with professional groups. Some of the information you provide to us will be validated from information systems with other government agencies, for example, a Police Record check will be conducted for all assessments.
Generally, if you have accepted a redundancy benefit from the Australian Public Service (APS) or a Commonwealth-related agency within the last 12 months, ASIC is unable to offer you employment until this period has elapsed.
