The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) is pleased to announce the 17th annual ASIC Summer School. Happening over two days on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 February 2012, the event will be held at the Hilton Sydney. You can now register to attend ASIC Summer School 2012.
The theme for this year's event is 'Building resilience in turbulent times'. Over the course of the conference, we will discuss and debate the implications of the ongoing economic turbulence for corporate, financial services and securities markets regulation. The regulatory response in both Australia and abroad will be explored, with a specific focus on recent trends and challenges in the emerging and evolving markets of the Australasian region.
The Summer School is held each year to give financial industry leaders the latest information on current issues and challenges, the latest thinking and prospects for the year ahead.
The Summer School features keynote addresses by high-profile local and international leaders, concurrent workshops on topical issues, and opportunities to network with our industry professionals.
