Our professional registers include information on:

  • registered audit companies
  • registered liquidators
  • official liquidators
  • Australian Financial Services (AFS) licensees
  • AFS authorised representatives
  • credit licensees
  • credit representatives
  • credit registered persons
  • roles recorded on the pre-financial services regime register of licensees and authorisations.

Search fees

It is free to search our professional registers for the following information:

  • registration/licence number
  • name of the person or organisation
  • address
  • start date of registration/licence
  • details of the registration or licence, including:
    • start date
    • status
    • details of any conditions or restrictions about the registration.

We are legally obliged under the Corporations Act to charge fees for some information. See Search fees for a list of information you have to pay to access.

You can pay an information broker to get information from our registers for you. They have access to our registers and information from other government agencies.

What is an ASIC key?

Your ASIC key is a unique number used in ASIC Connect that helps us establish your identity and protects your business information by making sure only you and those you have authorised can access it.

What is a corporate key?

A corporate key is an 8-digit number uniquely associated with a company’s ACN. Your company needs only one corporate key.

An invitation key is a unique key to register for, or connect to an entity in, the ASIC Regulatory Portal.

What is an industry funding security key?

Your industry funding security key is a unique number used to launch an online transaction in the ASIC Regulatory Portal that will enable us to calculate your final industry funding invoice. You will be prompted to submit business activity metric information on the operation of your business in the previous financial year.
