Intent to cancel a business name
If you've received a letter from us saying that we intend to cancel your business name, you can renew it quickly and easily through our 'Pay now' service.
If you don't want to keep your business name, you don't have to do anything. We will cancel your business within the next two months and write to you when it's been cancelled.
Once your business name has been cancelled
Once your business name has been cancelled, it cannot be registered by anyone else for at least six months from the cancellation date.
If your business name has been cancelled within the past six months because you didn't renew it in time, you can ask us to restore your business name.
