Requesting an ASIC key using our online enquiry service

Before you can link information about your licence to your ASIC Connect account, you will need to request an ASIC key.

Here are the steps you need to follow for requesting an ASIC key using our online enquiry service.

2 Enter your request details

Your enquiry should include:

For licensees:

  • your AFS licence name
  • your AFS licence number
  • an email address to send the ASIC key to

For authorised representatives:

  • your authorised representative name
  • your authorised representative number
  • an email address to send the ASIC key to

Attach a scanned copy of your signed consent

For licensees:

The consent must:

  • state that the licensee consents to delivery of the ASIC key at the nominated email address
  • include the name and signature of the AFS licensee  

For authorised representatives:

The consent must:

  • state that the authorised representative consents to delivery of the ASIC key at the nominated email address
  • include the name and signature of the authorised representative

Your ASIC key will then be sent to your nominated email address by the next business day.

The email will be sent from ASIC.transactions.no-reply@asic.gov.au.

To make sure the email does not get caught in junk mail, we recommend you add this email address to your safe senders list.
