Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning)

Course Information

This course (DFS 6) will evaluate your prior experience, training, knowledge, skills and competency against the current requirements for Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) FNS60404. You are required to have completed the Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) FNS50804. Applicants must have also been operating in the Financial Planning for 5 of the last 8 years. Participants will be required to submit a portfolio of evidence and complete the assessment tasks to demonstrate knowledge of the financial planning industry, industry regulations and codes of practice, financial products, financial markets and investment characteristics; roles of other associated financial advisers; impacts of taxation, social security, economic and other governement policies on client investment and financial requirements; sales and marketing media and methodologies. Participants who successfully complete the program will be awarded a nationally recognised qualification or where the Advanced Diploma is partially completed a Statement of Attainment covering the assessed units of competency.
