ASIC has disqualified Mr Bruce Harvey, 63, of Brighton-Le-Sands, New South Wales, from managing corporations for a period of three years.

Mr Harvey was a director of Australian Medical Imaging Pty Ltd between 21 May 2007 and 25 August 2009, Gold Coast Healthcare Ltd between 13 September 2004 and 16 March 2005 and Prescription Healthcare Ltd between 10 December 2003 and 9 April 2010.

ASIC commenced its investigations into Mr Harvey following the lodgement of liquidators’ reports indicating that he was an officer of the above three companies which had been wound up and were unable to pay their unsecured creditors more than 10 cents in the dollar.

ASIC found that the failures of the companies occurred because of Mr Harvey’s poor financial control, record-keeping and strategic management.
