Citation Resources director and OKAP Ventures company secretary charged with stealing and forgery

Former Citation Resources Limited (Citation Resources) director Peter Neil Landau and former OKAP Ventures Pty Ltd (OKAP) company secretary Jane Rosemary Flegg have been charged with 61 counts of stealing, one count of forgery and one count of uttering a forged document, following an ASIC investigation.

ASIC alleges that between 11 June 2015 and 19 February 2016, Mr Landau and Ms Flegg stole over $2.2 million from ASX-listed company Citation Resources.

Mr Landau and Ms Flegg today appeared in Perth Magistrates Court in relation to the charges, where the matter was adjourned to 22 May 2020. Mr Landau and Ms Flegg were granted bail, with conditions including no overseas travel and handing over all passports to the Court.

The matter is being prosecuted by the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions.

Mr Landau and Ms Flegg were before the Perth Magistrates Court on 22 May 2020 for mention. Both matters were adjourned for mention to 28 August 2020. The bail of Mr Landau and Ms Flegg was renewed on the same terms and conditions.

On 28 August 2020, Mr Landau and Ms Flegg were before the Perth Magistrates Court for the third mention of the charges in relation to Citation Resources. The third mention was heard together with the first mention of charges against Mr Landau and Ms Flegg in relation to Continental Coal (refer: 20-201MR). The bail conditions in relation to the Citation charges was renewed on the same terms and conditions. Both matters are listed for further mention on 20 November 2020.
