Queensland director found not guilty of making a false statement to ASIC

Salam Zaki Bettridge of Varsity Lakes, Queensland, has been found not guilty of making a false or misleading statement in a form lodged with ASIC.

Mr Bettridge had been charged with making a false or misleading statement on a form lodged with ASIC to deregister his former company, Professional Project Services Pty Ltd (21-164MR). On 24 March 2022, Mr Bettridge was found not guilty following a hearing in the Southport Magistrates Court.

The matter was prosecuted by the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions.
