ASIC has cancelled the Australian credit licence of Zenoz Enterprises Pty Ltd effective from 3 July 2026.
The licence was cancelled after Zenoz ceased to engage in credit activities and failed to pay industry funding levies (and related late payment penalties) for the 2023-2024 financial year which were outstanding for over 12 months.
Background
ASIC granted Australian credit licence number 000544102 to Zenoz (ACN 621 170 616) on 16 February 2023. The licence authorised Zenoz to engage in credit activities as a credit provider.
Under section 54(1)(d) of the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth) (National Credit Act), ASIC has the power to cancel or suspend a credit licence if the licensee is liable to pay a levy imposed by the ASIC Supervisory Cost Recovery Levy Act 2017 (Cth) and has not paid that amount (consisting of the levy, any late payment penalty and any shortfall penalty) in full at least 12 months after the due date for payment.
Under s54(1)(b) of the National Credit Act, ASIC may cancel or suspend a credit licence if the licensee has ceased to engage in credit activities.
