Schedule 2 Committee decisions

Since 1 March 2017, ASIC has the power under s40-45 of Schedule 2 to the Corporations Act 2001 (Schedule 2) to convene a committee to decide about taking specified kinds of action regarding a liquidator’s registration.

One of the decisions a convened committee may make is about publication of specified information about a decision.

Since 1 March 2017, committees convened under Schedule 2 have decided that ASIC must publish the following:

ASIC reports on corporate insolvencies 2017–18

ASIC has published its annual overview of corporate insolvencies based on statutory reports lodged by external administrators for the 2017–18 financial year. 18-342MR. 14 November

Report On Company Activities and Property (ROCAP)

After an extensive revision process and industry consultation conducted through an external consultant, ASIC has released the new ROCAP - Report On Company Activities and Property to replace the RATA.
