This report summarises our findings on how motor vehicle insurers disclose information about premiums to consumers at the time of policy purchase and renewal. The report also contains our analysis of how consumers view this information, based on a consumer survey commissioned by ASIC and carried out in January 2026. This is part of ASIC’s priority to improve outcomes for consumers purchasing insurance.
