Sometimes payments may not appear in your ASIC account.
Payments may not appear due to processing times, or because you did not enter the right details when you paid.
If you cannot find a payment in your account, check that you paid us correctly.
Reasons for missing payments
If you’ve made a payment and it’s not appearing in your ASIC account, it may be because:
some payments may take several days to be processed
you made an error when making payment.
If your payment is missing
If you cannot find a payment in your ASIC account, we may be able to help. Sometimes you will need to go to the banking service provider or your financial institution.
If you have paid by cheque and the payment does not appear in your ASIC account after allowing time for processing, send us an online enquiry and tell us:
the BSB and account number of the cheque account
cheque number
cheque account holder’s name
the date the cheque was sent.
If you’ve made a payment at Australia Post, but do not have a receipt, you need to contact Australia Post directly.
If you do have a receipt and the payment has not gone through, or the amount was incorrect, send us an online enquiry, and attach the receipt.
BPAY payments can take up to 3 days to process.
If payment does not appear in your ASIC account, you should check you entered the biller code and reference number correctly.
If you used the wrong biller code and paid another organisation, contact your financial institution immediately.
If you have paid using a different reference number, or paid multiple accounts in the same transaction, send us an online enquiry and tell us:
the correct reference that should have been used
the incorrect reference number you used (if applicable)
ASIC account
ACN or account number
amount paid
proof of payment (for example, a bank statement).
