Business name holder-set up as trust

As part of the business name registration process — if a proposed business name holder selects to set up their business with the holder as a 'Trust', they are required to add an organisational representative for that Trust.

The following organisational representative set ups are available to choose from:

• Individual
• Company
• Registered body

The type of information you will be required to provide as part of your application will depend on the structure you select.

Organisation representative – Individual

If 'Individual' is selected - you will need to provide the following information:

• birth details
• residential address
• email address (optional)

Organisation representative – Company

If 'Company' is selected – you will need to provide the following information:

• the Australian Business Number (ABN), Australian Company Number (ACN) or Australian Registered Body Number (ARBN)
• email address (optional)

Organisation representative – Registered body

If 'Registered body' is selected – you will need to provide the following information:

• the Australian Business Number (ABN), Australian Company Number (ACN) or Australian Registered Body Number (ARBN)
• email address (optional)
