If you’re a credit licensee or representative, you can use ASIC’s credit licence portal to update your licence details, apply to vary your licence and lodge your annual compliance certificate.
To create an account, you will need a credit license or representative number. Your credit licence number is on your final certificate. You can also find the number on the Australian credit register using the Professional registers search.
Multiple users from a licensee or a group of licensees can access the portal under a single licence number. However, for security reasons each person will need to register separately, and ASIC will need to approve their application.
Before signing up, read ASIC's Electronic Lodgement Protocol. The protocol includes ASIC’s requirements for storing signed documents that you lodge online.
If you agree to the protocol select ‘Yes’. If you do not agree and select ‘No’ you will not be able to sign up.
For the question ‘On what basis are you applying?’, select ‘as a credit licensee’ from the list of options.
