Frequently asked questions

Who can use the Australian Credit Registers portal for online lodgement?

If you are registered for online access, you can use the Australian Credit Registers portal if you are a:

  • credit licensee
  • credit representative that is a body corporate able to sub-authorise credit representatives.

You can allow multiple users to access to the portal. For security reasons they will need to register separately and have their application approved by ASIC.

What about financial services licensees?

If you hold a credit licence you will need to register for online access to access credit forms through the Australian financial services licensees' portal. On the details page you will need to select "Both financial and credit services documents".

What happens if I forgot to attach a document to my credit licence application?

The licensing analyst assigned to your application will contact you to advise if any required documents are missing and will provide you with instructions to supply the required documents.
