Cyber pulse survey

The ASIC Cyber Pulse Survey is now closed.

Open to ASIC-regulated organisations registered on ASIC’s Regulatory Portal, the survey was designed to:

  • help organisations better understand their cyber resilience by assessing their current cyber maturity and controls, governance arrangements and incident preparedness
  • allow ASIC to assess the market’s cyber maturity on an anonymous basis, provide feedback and work together with industry to uplift cyber resilience.

If your organisation opted in to receiving an individual report on its cyber resilience, you should have received an email with the attached report to your nominated email address. If you haven’t, please check your spam or email us at cyberpulse@asic.gov.au.

All information collected has been de-identified and anonymised and cannot be used in any regulatory or enforcement action.

Do you need to report a cyber incident?

Visit the Australian Cyber Security Centre website or call the Australian Cyber Security Hotline: 1300 CYBER1 (1300 292 371).

You should also consider whether a cyber event or incident gives rise to other reporting obligations, including requirements to report to ASIC (such as reportable situations for AFS and credit licensees) or make a public disclosure. You can self-report to ASIC online or call us on 1300 300 630.
