ASIC letter to insurers about natural disasters

ASIC has written to insurers about insurance claims and natural disaster events.
The letter outlines:
- ASIC’s work in relation to natural disasters; and
- Identified actions that insurers should consider in preparation for the imminent natural disaster event season to ensure that they are better placed to meet their duty of utmost good faith.
