ASIC’s symposium on Australia’s Public and Private Markets (PPM) brought together industry leaders, regulators, and academics to discuss the future of the nation’s markets.

ASIC’s Chair Joe Longo and Commissioner Simone Constant participated in two panel sessions that explored key themes from ASIC’s public and private markets consultation, including initial observations, emerging issues, regulatory considerations and ideas for enhancement.

Panellists discussed the future shape of markets, evolving investor needs and the shifting dynamics between public and private markets.
