On the register, a banned body corporate is listed as ‘Credit banning by a State or Territory’ under ‘Type’.

You can see these details:

  • the name of the body corporate
  • the type of ban
  • when it started.

Some of these bodies corporate may no longer be registered with ASIC. They will be listed as deregistered companies if you do an organisations and business names search.
