Notify ASIC or apply to ASIC about company auditor appointments

Purpose

This transaction is for:

  • a company to notify ASIC of the failure to appoint a replacement auditor. 
  • a member of a proprietary company with more than one crowd source funding shareholder to apply to ASIC to appoint an auditor; or
  • a member of a public company to apply to ASIC to appoint an auditor.

Lodging Period

A company has seven (7) days to notify ASIC of a failure to appoint a replacement auditor.

 

Late Fees

Companies must notify ASIC of a failure to appoint a replacement auditor within seven (7) days, otherwise late fees will apply:
