What we do

ASIC is Australia's integrated corporate, markets, financial services and consumer credit regulator.

ASIC is an independent Australian Government body. We are set up under and administer the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (ASIC Act), and we carry out most of our work under the Corporations Act.

Corporate Finance Liaison meetings

ASIC’s Corporate Finance Liaison meetings are held twice per year to provide insights into ASIC’s current policy and regulatory approaches regarding corporate fundraising, mergers and acquisition activity and other corporate transactions.

Further details on these issues, including an update on issues arising as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, is contained in our Corporate Finance Update newsletters.

To receive notifications about upcoming meetings please subscribe to our Corporate Finance Update newsletters.
