Notify ASIC of disqualification
If you are a business name holder or a company officeholder, you must let us know if you have been disqualified from holding a business name.
You are disqualified from holding a business name if you:
- are disqualified from managing a corporation under section 206B(1) of the Corporations Act 2001 or
- (within the past 5 years) have been convicted of or released from prison after serving a term of imprisonment for any of criminal offences referred to in 32(1)(c) or (d) of the Business Names Registration Act 2011.
